Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to announce that the Joint Meeting of ACTI 2027, 17th JSPFI, and 34th JSCTS will be held from February 11 to 14, 2027, at "Winc Aichi" in Nagoya, Japan.
The main theme of this joint meeting is “Aiming for Advancement of Diagnosis and Treatment through Technological Innovation and Latest Knowledge”.
Based on the latest research findings, this conference aims to address emerging clinical needs, including the advancement of diagnostic imaging, early detection and treatment, and the improvement of patient care. To achieve this, the meeting will bring together a multidisciplinary group of experts in fields such as diagnostic radiology, pulmonology, biomedical engineering, and quantitative image analysis using AI from Asia, Europe, North America, and across the globe.
This Joint Meeting synergizes the expertise of three distinguished societies. ACTI, organized by the Asian Society of Thoracic Radiology (ASTR), has been a driving force in international research since 2006. 17th JSPFI (The Japanese Society for Pulmonary Functional Imaging) focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration for functional imaging progress. 34th JSCTS (The Japanese Society of CT Screening) is dedicated to early cancer detection and general health promotion. The collaboration of these three societies provides a unique opportunity to share the latest scientific findings and support the growth of future leaders.
Nagoya, the host city, is located at the center of Japan and is easily accessible from both domestic and international locations. The city retains a strong legacy of samurai culture, evident in landmarks such as Nagoya Castle, famous for its golden shachihoko, and Atsuta Shrine. We look forward to welcoming you with warm hospitality, hoping your stay in this historic and beautiful city will be fruitful, complementing the lively discussions in the academic program.
We look forward to welcoming you to Nagoya in February 2027 for a productive and memorable experience.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We are pleased to announce that the Joint Meeting of ACTI 2027, the 17th JSPFI, and the 34th JSCTS will be held from February 11 (Thu., National Holiday) to 14 (Sun.), 2027, at "Winc Aichi" (Aichi Industry & Labor Center) in Nagoya, Japan. This conference marks a significant collaborative milestone, held in conjunction with the 17th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Pulmonary Functional Imaging and the 34th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Computed Tomography Screening.
The main theme of this joint meeting is “Aiming for Advancement of Diagnosis and Treatment through Technological Innovation and Latest Knowledge”.
Based on the latest research findings, the primary objective is to address emerging clinical needs, including the advancement of diagnostic imaging, early detection and treatment, and the improvement of patient care. To achieve this, a multidisciplinary group of experts in fields such as diagnostic radiology, pulmonology, biomedical engineering, and quantitative image analysis using AI will gather from Asia, Europe, North America, and across the globe.
ACTI, organized by the Asian Society of Thoracic Radiology (ASTR), was established with the vision of creating an academic platform in Asia comparable to those in North America and Europe. Since its inaugural meeting in Seoul in 2006, the congress has steadily progressed through Kyoto (2nd), Taipei (3rd), Shanghai (4th), and Seoul (5th). The upcoming meeting in Nagoya will serve as a crucial milestone to further accelerate this international trend in education and research.
Nagoya, in the center of Japan, is a vibrant metropolis of over 2.3 million people. It is the political, economic, and cultural hub of the Chubu region. Tradition and innovation coexist here, as shown by Nagoya Castle and Atsuta Jingu Shrine, the world-leading automobile industry, and a unique culinary culture known as "Nagoya-meshi".
We invite researchers, physicians, radiological technologists, and students from diverse backgrounds to join us in this beautiful city. We look forward to your warm participation and to fostering deep interdisciplinary and international discussions alongside our heartfelt hospitality.
We look forward to seeing you in Nagoya in February 2027.
